Job summary

East Central Ohio Educational Service Center in Belmont County, Ohio is seeking a skilled Computer/Network Technician to maintain and troubleshoot computer systems, networks, and software applications. The role requires diagnosing hardware issues, installing hardware/software, and handling service requests with timely resolutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong TCP/IP networking knowledge, solid hardware experience, and ITIL-based service management skills.

Qualifications

Proficiency with ITIL framework and IT service management.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware components.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and related protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair hardware issues on PCs, servers, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, peripherals, and software.
Provide software support including MS Office and web browsers.
Respond to and close tickets promptly; document work in service system.
Escalate complex tickets to Tier 2/3 when needed.
Follow ECOESC policies and maintain supplies and equipment.
Maintain privacy and confidentiality of information.
Participate in team meetings and organizational updates.
