Job summary

Johnson Electric seeks an IT Network Manager to design, implement, and support a secure, scalable network infrastructure for manufacturing operations. You will lead on-site with global IT collaboration to ensure performance, reliability, and cybersecurity for enterprise and plant-floor systems.

The role requires 7+ years in IT infrastructure and 3+ years in OT networks within manufacturing, with deep expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, SD‑WAN, IP addressing, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or architecture.
• 3+ years of experience supporting OT networks in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, SD‑WAN, IP addressing, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Cisco certifications (CCNA / CCNP / CCIE); CISSP strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable LAN, WAN, and OT network architectures.
• Lead and mentor a team of Network Administrators.
• Manage core and edge switching, OT networks, and Wi‑Fi access points.
• Implement and support Layer 2 and Layer 3 network protocols.
• Design and maintain plant-floor OT network segmentation, including tools like Xona.
• Implement enterprise cybersecurity solutions (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Zscaler, Microsoft Defender).
• Collaborate with global network teams to deploy and enforce infrastructure standards.
• Monitor performance using Zabbix and proactively resolve risks.
• Support cybersecurity events and incident remediation.
• Ensure compliance with security audits (TISAX, CMMC, etc.).
• Lead or contribute to IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
• Maintain detailed network documentation and procedures.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
