Billings Clinic is seeking an IT Network Engineer to support and optimize the data and voice infrastructure across the health system. You will design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, coordinating with clinicians, IT teams, and vendors to ensure high uptime and secure connectivity.

The role requires a strong foundation in TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN technologies, plus collaboration across departments to improve workflows and patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 0–10 years of experience with network infrastructure/architecture, remote access, and support services.
• Knowledge of LAN switching, VLANs, LAN/WAN, and voice/telephony concepts (VoIP).

Responsabilités

• Assess and map current and future network state, identify gaps, design, implement, and maintain infrastructure.
• Coordinate with leadership, IT staff, affiliates, sites, and vendors for planning and support.
• Act as liaison for network infrastructure with end-users and vendors to identify problems and recommend improvements.
• Monitor environment to support patient care and safety, ensuring uptime and reliability.
• Ensure policies and procedures comply with health IT regulations and standards.
