Job summary

Mountain Park Health Center is seeking a Network and Telecom Engineer II to administer and maintain enterprise network and telecom platforms. You will assist in researching, designing, and implementing new technologies to support the organization.

This role requires managing at least two major platforms, collaborating with senior staff, and traveling to multiple locations as needed. A bachelor's degree and several years of IT experience are expected, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Four (4) years of IT experience; or High school diploma (GED) and seven (7) years of IT experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Handles the procurement, acquisition, inventory, and disposition of network and telecommunications hardware and software.
• Administers and manages information systems.
• Collaborates with the Network Engineer III in execution of strategic plans.
• Installs and supports LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, Intranet, and telecommunication systems hardware and software.
• Analyzes and isolates network, firewall, and telecommunication issues.
• Assists in evaluating and modifying system performance and architecture.
• Maintains integrity of the network, telecommunications, and security of those systems.
• Architects, engineers, installs, and deploys networks and various networking components.
• Performs network email address assignment, routing protocols, and routing table configuration.
• Acts as mid-tier escalation point for networking and telecommunication support.
• Travels to multiple locations during shift.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
