Job summary

Prowess Consulting seeks an IT Manager to lead internal technology operations, owning budgeting, vendors, hiring, and the internal platforms that power our workforce. You will shape security and compliance controls and drive AI-enabled initiatives within a cloud-first environment.

The role requires experience managing small teams, strong governance mindset, and hands-on IT operations across M365, identity/access, and endpoint management. Remote work is possible with PT collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Progressively responsible IT experience with small teams, vendors, projects and technical teams.
• Experience leading system implementations, migrations, upgrades and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the help desk function for a distributed workforce across two primary sites and remote workers worldwide.
• Microsoft 365 administration: Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, Purview and Defender.
• Identity and access administration: on/offboarding, access changes, group and role design, privileged access controls.
• Endpoint fleet: procurement, build standards, configuration, patching, recovery and disposal.
• Vendors, contracts, licensing and assets: renewals, third-party risk review, and cost visibility.
• Business continuity for internal systems: backup, restore testing, documented recovery expectations.
• Security operations: vulnerability monitoring and remediation, logging, and an incident response process.
• Projects and documentation: upgrades, improvement initiatives, and standards that enable others to run this.
