Job summary

Prowess Consulting is hiring an IT Manager to lead internal technology operations from our Bellevue office, with a hybrid schedule requiring two days on-site. This role reports to the CISO and guides a small team across IT security, service delivery, and platform management.

The position emphasizes M365 administration, IAM, endpoint management, vendor oversight, and strong governance. Seattle-area residence is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, CS, IS, or related field.
• Progressively responsible IT experience overall.
• Experience managing small teams, vendors, projects, and technical teams.
• Experience supporting corporate IT infrastructure and business applications.
• Experience leading system implementations, migrations, upgrades and operational improvements.
• Experience with M365 administration, ISO, SOC, and GDPR.
• Experience implementing generative AI or automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the help desk function for a distributed workforce across two primary sites and remote workers.
• Oversee Microsoft 365 administration and identity/access controls.
• Design and manage identity and access, on/offboarding, role design, privileged access.
• Manage endpoint fleet procurement, configuration, patching, and disposal.
• Handle vendor contracts, licensing, renewals and asset management.
• Ensure business continuity for internal systems including backups and recovery testing.
• Operate security monitoring, incident response, and governance activities.
• Drive projects and documentation to enable others to run the platform independently.
