Job summary

Ascent Ready Talent Capital is seeking an IT Manager to run day-to-day technology and ensure the business uses it effectively. You will own the technology roadmap, manage SaaS tools, ensure security and data privacy, and lead a cross-functional tech team onsite.

You’ll collaborate with the CEO and executive team, coordinating with Marketing, Operations, and Compliance to deliver practical technical solutions and safe AI adoption across the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT, including 2+ in people management
• Track record delivering on shared priorities by employees, contractors, and vendors
• Hands-on SaaS and Microsoft 365 administration with integration exposure
• Working knowledge of information security, access management, and compliance frameworks
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical leaders
• Familiar with AI tools and data security risks

Responsibilities

• Own the technology roadmap with leadership and budget alignment
• Evaluate tools and vendors with clear recommendations to leadership
• Administer core stack: TazWorks, HubSpot, Power BI, Workato, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, BigQuery
• Perform integrations with client ATS platforms and partners
• Plan hardware and software lifecycles across the tech stack
• Ensure FCRA, client contracts, and data privacy compliance including international data processing
• Guide company AI guidelines and promote safe AI tool adoption
• Lead technical team and contractors across Infrastructure, IT Support, Software Development, and Data Analytics
• Oversee technical delivery for Marketing and Operations with CMO and COO

Job description

The IT Manager will run technology day to day and help the business actually use it well. Systems, security, vendors, marketing and operations technology, and practical AI adoption all sit with you. This is a hands-on onsite role with accountability across the technical enterprise and works in collaboration with the business team to determine and work toward technical solutioning. This position reports to the CEO and work closely with the executive team.

Primary Responsibilities

• The technology roadmap, built with leadership and tied to budget
• Tool and vendor evaluations, with recommendations to leadership
• Administration of the core stack: TazWorks, HubSpot, Power BI, Workato, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, BigQuery
• Integration work with client ATS platforms and partners
• Hardware and software lifecycle planning
• FCRA, client contract, and data privacy compliance, including international data processing
• Company AI guidelines, and helping teams adopt AI tools safely
• Leading the technical team and contractors across Infrastructure, IT Support, Software Development, and Data and Data Analytics
• Overseeing technical delivery for Marketing and Operations with the CMO and COO

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT, including 2+ managing people, contractors, or consultants
• A track record getting employees, contractors, and vendors to deliver on shared priorities
• Hands-on SaaS and Microsoft 365 administration, with integration exposure
• Working knowledge of information security, access management, and compliance frameworks
• Able to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical leaders
• Familiar with AI tools and the data and security risk that comes with them

Preferred Qualifications

• A regulated industry handling personal data: screening, HR tech, healthcare, financial services
• FCRA, SOC 2, or international data privacy rules
