Job summary

JARS Cannabis is seeking an IT Manager for our Troy, Michigan corporate office to run day-to-day IT across the corporate office and retail locations. The role emphasizes infrastructure projects, system standardization, and vendor management rather than frequent ticketing.

The ideal candidate will lead the IT Technician, manage identity and access, and drive automation while coordinating with the Data and Systems team. This is an on-site role in Michigan with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on administration of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID in production, including SSO/SCIM integrations.
• Experience managing corporate networks (switching, routing, wireless, firewalls).
• Experience writing SOPs and operational documentation.
• Strong project management skills with multi-site IT projects.
• Supervised or mentored at least one direct report.
• Ability to support distributed retail locations remotely with occasional site visits.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID tenant, including identity, groups, licensing and security policies.
• Manage user, device, and access lifecycle across corporate and retail locations.
• Maintain SSO and SCIM integrations with business apps; onboard new systems.
• Collaborate with Data & Systems on identity-driven automation and provisioning.
• Oversee network and infrastructure across sites (primarily Ubiquiti).
• Source and contract internet service for new locations; manage ISP contracts.
• Admin Zoom Phone across locations; manage corporate cell fleet and cost control.
• Provision hardware and set standards; maintain asset inventory and refresh plans.
• Write and maintain IT SOPs; automate manual processes where sensible.
• Provide tier-2/3 escalation support; occasional after-hours coverage.
• Supervise IT Technician; ensure project delivery and budgets.
