Job summary

Millcreek Township is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead technology planning, infrastructure, support, and security for the Township’s non-police departments. This hands-on role supports staff, guides technology decisions, and ensures systems remain secure, reliable, and up to date.

The IT Manager will coordinate IT activities with leadership, departments, staff, and vendors, combining infrastructure with user support, cybersecurity, website administration, and technology planning.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
• Microsoft Office certification is required or preferred.
• Ability to perform essential IT functions with strong applications support experience.
• Deep knowledge of privacy practices/laws and ability to research IT issues.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct IT activities for non-police departments.
• Lead infrastructure, security, and user-support efforts.
• Develop IT architecture, security, disaster recovery, and budgeting frameworks.
• Coordinate vendor contracts and service agreements.
