Job summary

State of Tennessee seeks an IT Manager to supervise professional IT staff and manage projects for moderate to large scale operations in Nashville. You will partner with agency leadership to guide strategic planning, policy implementation, and IT resource coordination to meet compliance and business goals.

The role involves overseeing Power Platform services, ensuring cybersecurity, and driving modernization through automation and low-code solutions within a hybrid (in-office and remote) work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field with 3 years IT experience including supervisory responsibility.
• Associate degree may substitute for Bachelor's as noted in policy.
• Graduate IT coursework may substitute for up to two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise IT staff including help desk, network admins, and system specialists.
• Ensure operation of agency systems, networks, and end-user services.
• Coordinate integrations between systems, Power Platform, Azure, and third-party apps.
• Plan and execute technology initiatives, upgrades, and deployments.
• Monitor hardware, software, and cloud services performance.
• Manage Power Platform environment (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Develop Power Apps and automated workflows to improve processes.
• Enforce cybersecurity practices and compliance standards.
• Participate in risk assessments and document technology risks.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain documentation.
