The role covers network, server and hardware management, cybersecurity, data backup and disaster recovery, vendor management, budgeting, and IT project oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, CS, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years in IT operations, systems or network administration, or related technical field.
• Experience in IT management or supervisory roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of networks, servers, operating systems, hardware and software.

AC&T is seeking an experienced and motivated IT Manager to oversee the company's information technology operations, systems, and infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT systems while providing technical support and leadership to meet the company's business needs.The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage technology projects, support employees, and ensure the security and reliability of company systems.ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of the company's IT systems, networks, servers, and hardware.Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of business-critical technology systems.Manage the installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of computer equipment, software, and network infrastructure.Develop and maintain IT security policies and procedures.Monitor and address cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and potential threats.Ensure company data is protected through appropriate backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.Oversee technical support for employees experiencing hardware, software, network, or system issues.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.Establish procedures to ensure timely and effective resolution of IT requests.Provide guidance and training to employees on company technology systems and applications.Evaluate existing technology systems and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.Manage IT projects, system implementations, upgrades, and technology integrations.Research emerging technologies and make recommendations based on business needs and cost-effectiveness.Plan for future technology needs and infrastructure improvements.Lead, supervise, and develop IT staff, as applicable.Establish priorities, performance expectations, and procedures for IT operations.Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and consultants.Negotiate service agreements and monitor vendor performance.Communicate IT issues, project updates, and technology recommendations to company leadership.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.5 or more years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, network administration, or a related technical field.Previous IT management or supervisory experience preferred.Strong knowledge of computer networks, servers, operating systems, hardware, and software.Experience with cybersecurity practices, data backups, disaster recovery, and user access management.Experience managing technology projects, vendors, and IT budgets.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing business needs.
