Job summary

Yonkers Contracting Company, Inc. seeks an experienced IT Manager to lead the information technology infrastructure and operations for a fast-paced construction environment in Yonkers, NY.

You will supervise a small IT team, manage networks, systems, and security tooling, and partner with internal stakeholders on strategic technology initiatives. Responsibilities include vendor management, onboarding/offboarding, security governance, and ensuring reliable support for end users.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years IT leadership in corporate environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate and function effectively as part of a team.

Yonkers Contracting Company has an immediate opportunity for an experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee the company’s information technology infrastructure and operations. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to supporting a fast‑paced corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a small internal IT team, including help desk staff and technical support
• Oversee the management, configuration, and optimization of company networks, systems, and security tools, including Meraki, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure infrastructure
• Implement and manage security tools, protocols, and best practices
• Oversee help desk operations and ensure timely, efficient support for all end‑users
• Manage technology vendors, service providers, SaaS platforms, and equipment suppliers
• Coordinate, collaborate, and execute strategic technical initiatives
• Oversee technology onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning, equipment deployment, and security‑compliant deactivation
• Maintain documentation of systems, procedures, licenses, configurations, and disaster recovery processes
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand technology needs and identify opportunities for improvements in efficiency and security

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of progressive IT experience in a corporate or similarly structured organization
• Proven ability to collaborate and function effectively as part of a team
