Job summary

Nutex Health is seeking an IT Coordinator to support nationwide hospitals, facilities, and corporate offices by coordinating hardware and software procurement, inventory, and deployment. You will track orders, manage shipments, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with vendors and the IT team.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills, plus experience with enterprise IT hardware and Windows environments.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of shipping, receiving, inventory, purchasing, or logistics in a large enterprise.
• Experience supporting a multi-hospital or healthcare system is preferred.
• Working knowledge of enterprise hardware and software from Dell, Cisco, HP.
• Identify and classify common IT equipment and components (servers, desktops, network gear, UPS, etc.).
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 in a networked enterprise.
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware/software issues; escalate complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated customer-service orientation and proactive issue resolution.
• Associate degree in IT/CS or related field; CompTIA A+ and Network+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Place and track orders with technology vendors for hardware and software.
• Receive and inventory incoming hardware and software; verify against PO and invoices.
• Organize and label equipment by project for deployment traceability.
• Package hardware for shipping and coordinate outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with vendors on pricing, availability and delivery schedules.
• Reconcile POs, packing slips, invoices; investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Monitor IT ticketing system and resolve help desk requests.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to procedures.
• Provide backup support for other IT team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by IT Operations Manager.
