Job summary

Milestone Technologies is seeking an IT Walk-Up/Logistics Technician to join our logistics team in Pleasanton, CA. You will support Windows and Mac environments, handle shipping and receiving IT materials, maintain inventory, and provide white-glove customer service to internal employees.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to deploy equipment, manage inventory, and collaborate with deployment teams. Typical hours are 40 per week and work is on-site.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years in IT helpdesk or related role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook on Windows and Mac.
• Experience with VPN and certificate issues.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and basic AD tasks.
• Experience with RSA tokens and Citrix environments.
• Experience with ticketing systems.
• Ability to move 25 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Provide white-glove, face-to-face user support.
• Update users on incidents and requests.
• Educate users on essential functions and new tech.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and authentication.
• Support apps and tools in Windows/macOS environments.
• Process equipment from suppliers and ship to stockrooms.
• Inventory data entry and verification.
• Prepare shipments and labels for delivery.
• Perform deployment services and desk-side support.
• Participate in inventory counts.
