Job summary

Luther Seminary seeks an IT Liaison for Computing (LFC) to strengthen relationships with administrative and academic staff, improving IT support and student learning experiences. The role blends frontline troubleshooting with strategic resource guidance, working across Luther Seminary and Augsburg University to ensure timely, effective technology usage.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s degree and two years of IT user support experience, or four years of combined education and experience.
• Advanced support-level skills for Mac and PC hardware and software, OS and productivity apps.
• Familiarity with telecommunications equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive, professional relationships with designated administrative and academic personnel.
• Provide consultative just-in-time support and monitor support channels for responsive service.
• Maintain awareness of IT resources and refine documentation and training materials.
• Identify support trends and collaborate with AIS and SysNet for issue resolution.
• Work with academic personnel to recommend acquisition of resources as needed.
