Job summary

The City of Philadelphia's Office of Innovation & Technology is seeking an IT Trainer to design engaging training programs and translate complex IT concepts into practical content for staff.

You will lead training sessions, mentor team members, and continuously improve materials to align with city priorities and industry best practices. A Bachelor’s in IT or Education is required, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT professional (e.g., system administration, software development, network management).
• Experience in instructional design or training delivery, preferably in IT.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop training materials for IT topics and skill levels.
• Facilitate engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
• Identify skills gaps and inform program development with assessments.
