Job summary

ShipMonk is seeking an experienced IT Lead to own day-to-day IT operations across office and warehouse environments. You will guide a team of IT Support Specialists, remain hands-on with hardware and networks, and own escalations, vendor relationships, and cross-site projects.

The ideal candidate has several years of experience supporting a mixed warehouse and corporate environment and is ready to own the IT roadmap, staffing, and standards for the site.

Qualifications

• 4+ years IT support in mixed warehouse and corporate environments, including 1–2 years in lead/supervisory roles.
• Strong understanding of G-Suite Admin Console and Microsoft admin tools.
• Experience managing MDM platforms (Miradore, Mosyle, SimpleMDM) and identity management via Okta.
• Experience with asset tracking tools (SnipeIT, Asset Panda) and hardware lifecycle ownership.
• Hands-on troubleshooting with rugged devices (Zebra TC-series) and label/receipt printers.
• Experience with physical security platforms (Avigilon, UniFi, OpenPath) preferred.
• Proven ability to manage an IT ticket queue (Asana) with SLA discipline.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and organizational skills; able to lead and mentor.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Support Specialists across corporate and warehouse locations, setting priorities and reviewing quality of work.
• Own on-call coverage and incident response for site-critical IT/OT issues, including after-hours escalations.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding workflows: hardware staging, access provisioning, and data handling.
• Manage vendor relationships and multi-site IT projects, including hardware forecasting and site Launches.
• Maintain and improve documentation for IT assets, configurations, and procedures.
