Job summary

Saulsbury Industries is seeking an IT Job Site Support Technician to install, diagnose, repair, and maintain technology for office staff and on-site personnel, with a focus on strong communication and teamwork.

The role requires travel to Permian Basin job sites to install time clocks, networking gear, cameras, routers, and backups while opening and tracking Help Desk tickets and coordinating with the IT team. A High School Diploma and 2–5 years of IT experience are required, with a credit check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to travel to project sites across the Permian Basin.
• 2-5 years of IT experience, Microsoft Windows Networking, Windows 10 and 11.
• The satisfactory completion of a credit check is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assess malfunctions of hardware and/or software to determine actions to maintain operations.
• Coordinate with the IT Help Desk and IT Manager.
• Support, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues for office staff and field employees.
• Travel to job sites and install Time Clocks, Internet Services, Networking Equipment, Time Lapse Cameras, Routers and backups.
• Open, track and resolve tickets using Saulsbury’s ticketing system; manage priority levels and response times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The role of IT Job Site Support Technician performs a variety of technical tasks and duties relating to the installation, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of all technology, computers, and software components and applications. These tasks will be expected to be performed for both office staff and on-site (field) personnel. The right person will need a level of social and intrapersonal skills as demonstrated through communication, teamwork, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assess malfunctions of hardware and/or software applications to determine appropriate actions to maintain computer and other technological operations.
• Coordinate with the IT Help Desk and IT Manager.
• Support, troubleshoot, and resolve IT-related issues with office staff and remote/field employees.
• Travel to job sites and install Time Clocks, Internet Services, Networking Equipment, Time Lapse Cameras, Routers and backup systems.
• Open, track and resolve tickets using Saulsbury’s ticketing system. Establishing and maintaining priority levels and response times for all Help Desk ticket requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to travel to project sites across the Permian Basin
• 2-5 years of IT experience, Microsoft Windows Networking, Windows 10 and 11
• Possesses a thorough understanding of technology solutions, and the ability to efficiently implement advanced technologies required.
• The satisfactory completion of a credit check is required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• IT experience in a business/Commercial environment preferred.
• Microsoft Certifications are not required but preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to walk the property and lay down yards.
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
