Lockheed Martin Corporation in Huntsville, AL seeks an IT Intern to support the Information Technology team during vacations and short-term breaks. You will help resolve tickets, refresh Windows workstations, and assist with Windows, RHEL, virtualization, networking, and storage administration.

The role requires pursuing a related bachelor’s degree, familiarity with Windows, and the ability to obtain DoD IAT Level II certification within 60 days of start.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related degree.
• College coursework exposure to CS and/or Systems Administration concepts.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to obtain DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security) within 60 days of start
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Highly motivated; able to perform team tasks with low direct supervision while utilizing virtual collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer IT support tickets and assist IT team in daily operations.
• Build and refresh Windows workstations.
• Support IT functions including Windows, RHEL, virtualization, networking, and storage administration.
