Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior System Administrator to support Windows desktops, laptops, and virtual servers. You will manage patch cycles, PKI lifecycles, and software deployments across a large workstation fleet.

The role requires a DoD IAT II certification, a current US security clearance with a polygraph, and at least five years of Linux experience. You will also handle procurement, documentation in JIRA/Confluence, and lab environments.

Qualifications

Ten years of System Administrator experience in similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or five years SA substitution accepted.
Must maintain an IAT level II certification as per DoD directive 8570.01-M.
Current US Security Clearance with Polygraph within last 5 years.
Minimum 5 years of Linux experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as Senior System Administrator for Windows desktops, laptops, and virtual servers.
Manage and patch production and development virtual servers, test updates, and PKI lifecycle.
Oversee deployment of customer applications across a large fleet of workstations.
Handle procurement processes for software and hardware with documentation in JIRA/Confluence.
Maintain lab environment, data migrations, OS installs, and future network integration.
Coordinate access, backups, and secure file transfer and patching.
