Group O is offering an IT Intern position based in Milan, IL (4905). You will join the IT Infrastructure team as an integral member, assisting in helpdesk support, information security, and networking tasks while gaining practical IT operations experience.

The ideal candidate is a college senior or graduate student pursuing an IT-related degree, with a part-time commitment for three months and opportunities for full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
• Strong interest in information security, networking, and IT operations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Part-time internship lasting three months with flexible scheduling.

Responsabilités

• Provide first-line technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist in setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Document and track tickets using the IT ticketing system and ensure timely resolutions.
• Assist in implementing information security policies and monitoring controls.
• Set up, configure, and maintain network infrastructure components and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Collaborate on IT projects and participate in meetings and training.
