Job summary

Hussmann is offering an IT Internship as part of its 2027 Summer Program in Bridgeton, MO. You will work across Global Applications, Audit and Compliance, Service Desk, Digital Platforms, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity while contributing to real projects.

You will gain exposure to senior leaders, participate in the Ideation & Innovation Challenge, and learn how Hussmann drives food retail technology solutions across a nationwide footprint.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to relate to all levels of the organization and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in IT projects that drive improvements or deliver enhanced capabilities to the business.
• Ensure current and future technical services align with business needs and industry standards.
• Network with senior leaders, associates, and other program interns to learn about the organization.
• Tour Hussmann's manufacturing facility and Global Hub for hosting customers, plus the R&D Lab.
• Participate in community stewardship outreach, career development events, and other team-building activities.
• Compete in the Ideation & Innovation Challenge and present a team proposal to executives.
