Job summary

Hussmann Corporation, a global leader in commercial refrigeration, invites you to join its 2027 Hussmann Summer Internship Program as a Digital Connectivity Intern, gaining hands-on IT Support experience across StoreConnect.

You will work with the Hussmann StoreConnect team, learn Linux support, automation with Python, VS, Postman, and collaborate with leaders in a 12-week Ideation & Innovation Challenge. The program runs May–August, with relocation opportunities as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in school pursuing at least a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Highly motivated and eager to learn.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to relocate, if not local.

Overview

Hussmann's Internship Program provides meaningful, real-life experiences while working as a solutions leader in the food retailing industry. Hussmann interns receive competitive compensation, participate in community stewardship, network with company leadership, and learn about career opportunities available at Hussmann.

As a Digital Connectivity Intern in the 2027 Hussmann Summer Internship Program, you will gain experience and insight into the day in the life of an IT Support professional. You will work across the Hussmann StoreConnect team to provide Hardware and Application support.

Responsibilities

Ideation & Innovation Challenge

Throughout the twelve-week program, all Hussmann interns will divide into cross-functional teams and compete with one another for the Hussmann Ideation & Innovation Challenge. Working with Hussmann mentors and leaders, you and your team will identify a solution to a provided problem statement. At the end of the summer, you'll present your team's business proposal to a panel of judges, executive leaders, and the organization - and possibly create a roadmap for Hussmann's next great innovation.
