Job summary

Hussmann offers a 12-week Digital Connectivity Intern program in Missouri, providing real-life IT support experience within the StoreConnect team. You will gain hands-on exposure to Linux support, Python scripting, Visual Studio, and Postman while engaging with senior leaders and fellow interns.

As part of the Ideation & Innovation Challenge, you’ll present a business proposal and potentially map out future innovations for Hussmann's global operations, during the May–August period.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in school pursuing a minimum of a bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
• Ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects, and demonstrate strong attention to detail
• Highly motivated and eager to learn
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to relocate, if not local

• Participate in community stewardship outreach, career development events, and other team-building offsite events.
• Compete in the annual Ideation & Innovation Challenge.

As a Digital Connectivity Intern in the 2027 Hussmann Summer Internship Program, you will gain experience and insight into the day in the life of an IT Support professional. You will work across the Hussmann StoreConnect team to provide Hardware and Application support.

Ideation & Innovation Challenge

Throughout the twelve-week program, all Hussmann interns will divide into cross-functional teams and compete with one another for the Hussmann Ideation & Innovation Challenge. Working with Hussmann mentors and leaders, you and your team will identify a solution to a provided problem statement. At the end of the summer, you'll present your team's business proposal to a panel of judges, executive leaders, and the organization - and possibly create a roadmap for Hussmann's next great innovation.

The summer internship will run from the third week of May through the first week of August. These dates may be changed to meet the needs of the student.
