Delaware Park Casino & Racing is seeking an entry-level IT support professional to assist with service requests, hardware/software setup, and routine user support.

You will document troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system and collaborate with the IT team on various projects across systems and networks. The role offers exposure to a fast-paced, 24/7 environment and requires professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• No prior professional IT experience required.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and Windows operating systems preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and basic networking concepts is a plus.
• Interest in developing a career in information technology.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and work with different IT areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist with IT service requests and support calls, including basic hardware, software, application, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of desktops, laptops, peripherals, and other end-user technology.
• Supports routine user account administration and software installation under the direction of IT staff.
• Documents service requests, troubleshooting performed, and resolutions within the IT ticketing system.
• Assists with IT equipment and asset inventory.
• Performs routine operational and system support tasks as assigned.
• Works with IT team on projects across systems, networking, cybersecurity, applications, and technology infrastructure.
• Gains exposure to IT operations in a 24/7 business environment.
• Communicates effectively and professionally.
• Follows Company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
