You will plan engaging instruction, employ varied teaching methods, and stay current through professional development and collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in CIS or related field.
• 18 graduate hours in CIS.
• Strong knowledge of computer networking, operating systems, cybersecurity, programming, database management, cloud computing, and IT support.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Aufgaben

• Teach assigned course load consistent with College workload policy.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Ensure course content aligns with accreditation standards.
• Use teaching strategies to communicate subject matter and stay current with professional development.
• Learn and use technology to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
• Modify instructional methods to meet diverse student needs and develop communication and higher-order thinking skills.
• Contribute to development of instructional materials and update course syllabi timely.
• Maintain documentation of professional development and continuing education.
• Establish meaningful student learning outcomes for courses.
• Develop and implement methods to measure progress toward outcomes and fairly evaluate work.
• Maintain accurate records of progress and submit grades by deadlines.
• Teach classes in a multi-campus, multi-modality environment.
• Post and maintain office hours; protect confidentiality of student information.
• Exercise stewardship of College facilities and materials.
• Record and provide attendance data according to policies.
• Respond to information requests from College administrators.
• Support and collaborate with colleagues; contribute to growth of College mission.
• Contribute to planning and development processes through appropriate channels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
