Job summary

Southwest Tennessee Community College seeks an Instructional Technologist to support faculty in the effective and innovative use of educational technologies to enhance teaching and learning across modalities.

This role blends technical expertise with pedagogical insight, partnering with faculty and the CTLE team to design engaging, accessible, and student-centered learning experiences in face-to-face, hybrid, and online environments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in instructional design/education technology or a related field.
• Experience supporting faculty and instructors in higher education.
• Experience with LMS and instructional technologies.

Responsibilities

• Consult with faculty to identify instructional goals and recommend technologies.
• Provide one-on-one and group support for LMS and related tools.
• Assist with integrating active learning, assessment, and engagement tools.
• Pilot and evaluate emerging educational technologies for fit.
