Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Computer Science or closely related field.
  • Experience with at least two of the following software languages: C#, C++, HTML5/CSS, Java, JavaScript, ASP.Net, SQL, or Python
  • Experience with at least one of the following software programs: Access, Oracle, Power BI, Visual Studio, or SQL Server.

Responsibilities

  • Teach computer science courses via on-ground day and evening, hybrid, virtual or web-enhanced delivery modes.
  • Work with course leads and/or program coordinators/directors to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences.
  • Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students.
  • Submit updated department syllabi prior to the first day of class.
  • Respond to emails/messages within 24 hours except on the weekend.
  • Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the registrar.
  • Advise students academically as assigned.
  • Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines.
