Job summary

The Tennessee Board of Regents invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor – Computer and Information Science (Pool). This position delivers quality instruction across on-ground, online and hybrid formats, collaborating with course leads to ensure consistent student experiences.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Computer Science or a related field, or a Bachelor’s/Associate with current industry certifications or three years of related experience. Prior college teaching is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of varied instructional delivery modes including synchronous and asynchronous teaching.
• Strong communication and collaboration with diverse student, faculty and staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and LMS tools.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses via on-ground, online and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes.
• Work with course leads and program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences.
• Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students.
• Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class and respond to emails within 48 hours.
• Complete attendance, progress and outcome reports and submit final grades by required deadlines.
