Job summary

PROPWR is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist to analyze, recommend, and implement IT solutions meeting industry standards while supporting end users and maintaining governance, risk management, and compliance practices.

You will coordinate IT operations, collaborate with Facilities on infrastructure projects, and stay current on new technologies to meet organizational needs. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in a related role are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field required.
• 3+ years in a similar IT infrastructure role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, recommend, and select IT solutions that meet industry standards.
• Support technology strategy by delivering optimal service to end users.
• Identify areas of improvement by assessing IT processes, technology, and vendors.
• Provide second tier support for the IT help desk.
• Coordinate maintenance of essential IT operations (OS, security tools, apps, servers, email, devices).
• Collaborate with Facilities to implement IT solutions (TV cabling).
• Leverage technology to support current and future infrastructure needs.
• Maintain IT policies and SOPs.
• Stay current on new technology features to meet network needs.
• Support governance, risk management, and compliance (SOX, audits, cybersecurity).
• Maintain compliance with HSE policies and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
