Job summary

ProPetro Services, Inc. seeks an Infrastructure Specialist to analyze, recommend, and implement IT solutions that meet industry standards and support the company’s technology strategy.

You will assess current processes, collaborate with Facilities, and maintain IT policies. The role requires 3+ years in a similar IT infrastructure position, a bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/IS, and expertise in network systems, cybersecurity, and desktop support, with proficiency in Office 365 and Azure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze, recommend, and select IT solutions meeting industry standards.
• Support technology strategy by delivering optimal service to end users.
• Identify areas of improvement by assessing IT processes, technology, and vendors.
• Provide second tier support for the IT help desk.
• Coordinate maintenance of essential IT operations (OS, security tools, apps, servers, email, devices).
• Collaborate with Facilities to implement IT solutions (e.g., TV cabling).
• Leverage technology to support current and future infrastructure needs.
• Maintain IT policies and SOPs.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.
• Stay current on new technology features or competitive solutions for network needs.
• Support governance, risk management, and compliance efforts (SOX, audits, cybersecurity).
• Maintain compliance with HSE policies and attend required training with PPE.

Job Summary

The Infrastructure Specialist analyzes, recommends, and selects the organization’s Information Technology (IT) solutions that meet industry standards; identifies areas of improvement by continuously assessing current IT processes, technology, and vendors; and supports the organization’s governance, risk management, and compliance efforts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, recommend, and selects the organization’s IT solutions that meet industry standards
• Support the organization’s technology strategy by delivering optimal service to technology end users
• Identify areas of improvement by continuously assessing current IT processes, technology, and vendors
• Provide second tier support for the IT help desk
• Coordinate the maintenance of essential IT operations (i.e., operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware)
• Collaborate with the Facilities team to implement IT solutions (i.e., TV cabling)
• Leverage technology to support both current and future infrastructure needs
• Maintain IT policies and SOPs
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
• Stay current on new technology features or other competitive solutions to meet the organization’s network needs
• Support the organization’s governance, risk management, and compliance efforts (i.e., SOX, audits, cybersecurity)
• Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of large network systems, cyber security solutions, and desktop support
• Experience in oil and gas service industry preferred, but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, can effectively interact with personnel at all levels of the organization
• Personable and customer service oriented
• Excellent time and project management skills, able to prioritize workload
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 platform and Azure
