This career site is for external applicants only.Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Infrastructure Specialist analyzes, recommends, and selects the organization’s Information Technology (IT) solutions that meet industry standards; identifies areas of improvement by continuously assessing current IT processes, technology, and vendors; and supports the organization’s governance, risk management, and compliance efforts.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, recommend, and selects the organization’s IT solutions that meet industry standardsSupport the organization’s technology strategy by delivering optimal service to technology end usersIdentify areas of improvement by continuously assessing current IT processes, technology, and vendorsProvide second tier support for the IT help deskCoordinate the maintenance of essential IT operations (i.e., operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware)Collaborate with the Facilities team to implement IT solutions (i.e., TV cabling)Leverage technology to support both current and future infrastructure needsMaintain IT policies and SOPsResearch and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and softwareStay current on new technology features or other competitive solutions to meet the organization’s network needsSupport the organization’s governance, risk management, and compliance efforts (i.e., SOX, audits, cybersecurity)Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 3 years’ experience in a similar roleBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of large network systems, cyber security solutions, and desktop supportExperience in oil and gas service industry preferred, but not requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills, can effectively interact with personnel at all levels of the organizationPersonable and customer service orientedExcellent time and project management skills, able to prioritize workloadStrong critical thinking and decision-making skillsExpert knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 platform and AzurePhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here represent those required for an employee to successfully perform the role’s essential functions.
