Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies is seeking a senior IT Infrastructure Administrator on a temporary agency‑assisted assignment to own the administration and operational performance of server, storage, network, and backup systems.

You will serve as the primary escalation point and technical lead, coordinating multi‑site infrastructure, leading complex changes, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring security and disaster recovery effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Experience with FreshService or similar ITSM platforms.
• Experience with NIST 800-171 / CMMC Level 2 network and server compliance.
• Familiarity with CMDB best practices.
• Ability to work well independently and cross‑functionally as part of an established and growing team.
• Ability to manage a project effectively to completion.
• Strong knowledge of networking (switching, routing, firewalls).
• Demonstrated ability to support Windows Server.
• Demonstrated ability to support Windows Failover Clustering.
• Demonstrated ability to support Hyper‑V.
• Experience with virtualization platforms and storage systems.
• Backup and disaster recovery expertise.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex, multi‑system issues.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Strong customer service background and technical writing skills.
• Ability to communicate well in person, email, and telephone.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly organized manner and be extremely detail oriented.
• Strong communication, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Administer servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and network infrastructure
• Act as Tier 3 escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents
• Lead incident resolution for infrastructure‑related issues
• Lead root cause analysis and problem management efforts
• Execute and lead complex changes, upgrades, and deployments
• Ensure backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes are effective
