Job summary

Comtron in Great Neck, NY seeks a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability, security and continuity of Windows- and Linux-based production systems. You will drive infrastructure lifecycle, backups, DR planning and production deployments to ensure high availability.

You will collaborate with IT, software development, QA and security teams, shaping modernization and potential cloud transitions in a dynamic healthcare tech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps, or similar.
• Strong Linux administration experience and Windows Server expertise.
• Experience with high-availability production environments and networking.
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid-cloud setups (Azure/AWS/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Oversee production infrastructure, availability, and security.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery, and DR testing.
• Handle deployments, staging/UAT, and hosting environments; support CI/CD.
