The South Carolina DMV seeks an IT Manager II to lead the server team, work with multiple departments, and guide modernization of the SCDMV’s server infrastructure. You will mentor staff, manage security and ensure reliable services across the Shared Services environment.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and a proactive approach to IT operations, with responsibilities spanning incident response and technical governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field.
• Experience substitutable on a year-for-year basis for a degree.
• Experience in telecommunications, data processing and/or information technology preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manages daily activities of the server team and collaborates with other teams.
• Uses IT trouble ticket system to manage tickets; mentors and evaluates server staff via EPMS.
• Oversees server infrastructure within Shared Services; ensures security in coordination with Security Team.
