Job summary

Kalmbach Feeds is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to lead strategy, reliability, security, and lifecycle management of enterprise infrastructure across offices and plants. The role covers on‑premises and cloud platforms, networks, servers, storage, databases, backup, and recovery, with multi-year roadmaps and budget responsibility.

The role must build a high‑performing team, set standards, and partner with Cybersecurity and Service Desk to deliver dependable services as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in infrastructure or IT operations.
• 5+ years leading technical teams and multi-site initiatives.
• Experience with hybrid-cloud environments and Azure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure team; set ownership, priorities, performance expectations, and standards.
• Build a culture of reliable execution with clear owners, deadlines, and accountability.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, security, and recoverability for operations.
• Set monitoring, alerting, capacity, and performance standards; use trends to manage risks.
• Deliver infrastructure for new plants, warehouses, offices, and expansions.
• Partner with Service Desk, Business Systems, Analytics, and Cybersecurity leaders.
• Evaluate technology trends; align improvements with business goals and risk reduction.
• Maintain multi-year roadmaps; manage risks, dependencies, and costs.
• Support budgets with forecasts, lifecycle plans; manage contracts and vendors.
• Define and execute scalable hybrid-cloud strategy; manage hosting, security, and lifecycle.
• Enforce patching, maintenance, and lifecycle standards; ensure compliance.
• Own backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery strategies; test readiness.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity on controls and incident response; document risks.
• Lead escalations and root-cause analysis; enable Service Desk resolution.
