Job summary

New College Bradford is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to join the IT Support Team. You will provide first line support to staff and students, handling hardware and software issues face to face or by phone while working under the IT Manager.

The role requires experience with Windows 10 and Office 365, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach. Training will be provided to keep you up to date with current security considerations.

Qualifications

• Experience in the support and management of desktops, laptops and printers.
• Experience with Windows 10 and Office 365 environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line IT support to staff and students, face-to-face or over the phone.
• Monitor and resolve hardware/software issues and escalate where needed.
• Support Microsoft technologies (Windows 10, Office 365) and mobile devices.
• Perform daily checks of IT infrastructure and admin tasks (password changes, printer credits).
• Assist pupils and staff with ICT usage and maintain hardware/software inventories.
