Ludlum Measurements, Inc. is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to support our operations in Sweetwater, TX. This entry-level role is ideal for a problem-solver eager to begin a career in IT, acting as the primary contact for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

On-the-job training will cover enterprise IT practices including Active Directory, virtualization, and security environments. We value a problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills over prior experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.

Responsibilities

• Operating Systems: Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
• Hardware & Peripherals: Basic knowledge of troubleshooting PCs, laptops, and office printers.
• Networking: knowledge of IP, DNS, and Wi‑Fi connectivity.
• Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Problem-Solving: A "can-do" attitude and patience when assisting others.
• Ticketing: Experience with help desk ticketing systems is a plus.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
