Job summary

Onealmfgservices is seeking an IT Support Technician to serve as the first point of contact for user issues. You will diagnose hardware, software, and network problems on Windows and Mac devices, administer Microsoft 365, and manage user accounts with MFA enrollment.

You will configure and retire devices, maintain asset records, apply patches, and uphold information security policies. The role includes assisting with IT projects and ensuring timely ticket resolutions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Zero to two years in help desk/IT support or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for IT support via phone, email, chat, self-service portal, and in person.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues for Windows and macOS devices.
• Support Microsoft 365 and cloud apps including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Perform user account administration including onboarding/offboarding and MFA enrollment.
• Set up, configure, deploy, and retire laptops, desktops, and peripherals; maintain asset records.
• Install, update, and test software and patches; report issues.
• Follow security policies; recognize phishing and security incidents; handle data appropriately.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff; communicate ticket status and SLAs.
• Document troubleshooting steps and changes in ticketing system and asset records.
• Contribute to IT projects and process improvements.
