Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an IT Customer Service Representative in the Baton Rouge, LA area. You will be the first point of contact for IT helpdesk inquiries, delivering friendly, reliable service and routing tickets efficiently.

This non-exempt role reports to the IT Operations Support Manager and emphasizes rapid, customer-focused support. Responsibilities include triage of calls, password resets, MFA tasks, and ticket dispatching while maintaining accurate records and following company

Qualifications

• Customer-focused support with strong communication skills.
• Experience delivering user-friendly IT helpdesk support.
• Ability to listen, understand, and de-escalate user frustrations over the phone.
• Familiarity with basic IT concepts and common software tools.
• Experience with ticketing systems preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls and tickets in a timely manner.
• Provide first-contact resolution for routine access and account issues.
• Document all interactions in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to specialist queues under guidance.
• Maintain accurate inventory in the help desk system.
