Job summary

River Bank is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide IT and physical security support for employees; serves as first contact for requests and documents issues, troubleshoots, and escalates as needed.

Under the IT Department Head, you'll collaborate with IT and vendors to ensure stability, availability, and security of the Bank’s technology environment. Requires associate degree and strong customer service; on-call outside business hours; travel to River Bank locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT/CS or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Customer service experience and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; time management and prioritization.
• Problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
• On-call availability outside regular business hours.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document IT and physical security support requests.
• Review requests by priority, impact, and urgency.
• Troubleshoot common hardware, software, printing, and connectivity issues.
• Resolve routine requests: password resets, lockouts, printer issues, software errors.
• Communicate status and next steps clearly to employees.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff or approved vendors.
• Maintain documentation of requests and resolutions.
• Assist with deployments, updates, and inventory records.
• Travel to River Bank locations as needed.
• Attend required training and perform other duties.
