Job summary

PGMTEK, Inc. is seeking a Network/IT Administrator to administrate and maintain our network infrastructure in a secure, high-performance environment. The role covers hardware and software installations, patching, and systems supervision across network, Internet, and SIEM components.

You will collaborate with IS teams on vulnerability scans, coordinate with data center providers, and manage inventory and helpdesk support, with additional IT tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience administrating and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure security and performance.
• Experience with hardware and software installations, configurations, and upgrades.
• Ability to manage hardware/software configurations and patching per standards.
• Supervise network, Internet, email gateway, IDS/IPS, SIEM and vulnerability systems.
• Coordinate vulnerability scans and remediation with IS team.
• Liaise with data center providers and service vendors.
• Manage circuits with carriers and equipment/service vendors.
• Maintain hardware and software inventory.
• Provide timely Helpdesk support and close tickets promptly.
• Assist in Disaster Recovery testing and documentation.
• Perform other IT Department tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Administrate and maintain the network infrastructure to ensure high security and performance.
• Perform hardware (network device, desktops, laptops, VM, etc.) and software installations, configurations, and upgrade.
• Ensure that the hardware (network device, desktops, laptops, VM, etc.) configuration and patching are well managed while meeting the Bank’s IT&IS standards.
• Supervise and control the overall operations and implementation of systems involving network, Internet, email gateway, IDS/IPS, SIEM system, vulnerability scan systems etc.
• Collaborate with IS team in vulnerability scan & penetration tests, ensure that the vulnerabilities are well tracked and remediated on time.
• Liaise with data center service providers (e.g. Head Office) in relation to network, equipment, information security and service provisions.
• Contact carriers for circuits, and other vendors for equipment and service installation, maintenance or troubleshooting.
• Manage the hardware and software inventory.
• Provide timely Helpdesk support to users and close out Helpdesk tickets promptly.
• Assist with Disaster Recovery testing and documentation.
• Any other work assigned by IT Department Management
