Job summary

School Specialty is offering an IT Internship (Technical Support Focus) in Greenville, WI. As an intern, you will be immersed in real-world IT tasks, supporting desktop hardware/software, connectivity, onboarding and technical resolution, while learning documentation practices and agile teamwork.

You will be mentored by a designated guide to develop your skills and contribute to meaningful projects during a 40-hour workweek this summer.

Qualifications

• Currently attending a 4-year college/university, pursuing a degree in relevant field
• Able to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week) during the 2027 summer

Responsibilities

• Gain real-world hands-on experience in the IT field
• Experience the end user through support of desktop hardware/software, connectivity, technical employee onboarding and technical resolution.
• Learn the importance of documentation and information gathering
• Gain an understanding of what it means to work as part of an agile team, building trust with a business to achieve organizational needs.
• Be assigned to a designated mentor who will guide your development by assigning tasks and projects that will support the team and department
