Job summary

DASCO Home Medical Equipment is seeking a Help Desk Technician to support the IT Manager by assisting associates with hardware and software issues, and by performing routine setup and maintenance of equipment.

The role requires strong communication, technical proficiency, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve escalated IT problems. A full-time schedule typically runs Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage tickets and follow procedures.
• Understanding of IT hardware, software, and related peripherals.
• Experience with help desk environments and IT asset management.

Responsibilities

• Help Desk: Monitor and respond to IT help desk requests and escalate when needed.
• Provide support for IT products and services, troubleshoot issues and educate associates.
• Assist with routine maintenance, upgrades, patches, and diagnostics.
• Configure, install, maintain, and uninstall workstations (PCs, laptops, tablets).
• Assist onboarding of new users and manage user credentials and software access.
• Lead or assist on projects to improve processes and efficiency.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, software, and licenses.
• Available for after-hours on-call support as required.
