Job summary

Centivo is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to support staff both remotely and on-site in Buffalo, NY. The role covers desktop hardware, software, and network-related issues, with responsibilities from ticketing to asset deployment and user onboarding.

You will work with Windows environments, Office 365, and Entra, collaborating with an outsourced IT partner for upgrades and security tasks. On-site presence is required in Buffalo.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of desktop support experience with Microsoft Windows.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Entra.
• 2 years of experience with network and security infrastructure (VPN, firewall).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for team members by monitoring queues, inbox, and phone.
• Deploy Centivo equipment to new and existing staff and manage asset recovery.
• Provide account setup and onboard new employees both in office and remotely.
• Document requests and incidents in the IT ticketing system in a timely manner.
• Diagnose, research, and resolve Level 1 issues; escalate Level 2/3 as needed.
• Coordinate with the outsourced IT partner for system upgrades and security configurations.
• Create and modify Entra user accounts and configure permissions.
• Follow IT policies and ensure accessibility of network resources (servers, VPNs, email).
• Deliver end-user software support and basic systems training.
• Install, repair, and maintain Centivo hardware and equipment.
