Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and emails regarding hardware and software problems.
• Assist with Active Directory, Azure or Identity Management tasks.
• Configure laptops and provisioning accounts for onboarding and offboarding.
• Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, and printer/networking issues.
• Use remote control tools to troubleshoot problems and escalate when needed.
• Know VPN, RDP, Citrix and other remote access tools.
• Assist with Exchange email setup and basic security practices.
• Handle service desk tickets and document resolutions.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier1/Tier2 engineers.

Level: Experienced, Job Location: PUTNAM COUNTY HOSPITAL - GREENCASTLE, IN 46135, FT IT Help Desk Technician - On site (not remote)

Responsibilities

• Experience answering phone calls and emails regarding computer hardware and software problems.
• Understanding of Active Directory, Azure, or Identity Management.
• Support employee onboarding and off boarding by configuring laptops, provisioning accounts, setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA), and revoking access.
• Experience with Microsoft operating systems (i.e. Win10 & Win11).
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Experience using remote control tools to troubleshoot computer problems.
• Installation and support of windows based printers and networking support.
• Understanding of VPN, RDP, Citrix and other remote access tools.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Exchange email system.
• Hardware diagnostics and software installation/patching.
• Experience with service desk ticketing systems.
• Basic understanding of security best practices regarding IT Infrastructure.
• Be able to escalated complex problems to tier1/Tier2 Engineers
