Job summary

The Connor Group is seeking a hands-on Help Desk Technician in Miamisburg, OH to support end users, systems, and network infrastructure. You will troubleshoot issues, own tickets through resolution, and assist with routers, switches, and connectivity.

Qualifications

Experience in network support, MSP, or NOC.
Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routers, switches, and connectivity troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-service skills.
Dependable, accountable, and able to work in a fast-moving environment.
Technical curiosity and a willingness to learn new systems and tools.
Ability to work fully on-site in Miamisburg.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and end-user support issues.
Own tickets through resolution and communicate clearly with internal customers.
Install, replace, and troubleshoot routers, switches, cabling, ports, and other network equipment.
Diagnose Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 networking issues.
Support systems administration, infrastructure maintenance, and equipment deployments.
Document technical changes, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining follow-through.
Participate in occasional scheduled Saturday morning work.
