Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, a Kubota Company, is offering a 2027 Summer Internship in Salina, KS. Information Technology Interns will work on a department-related project, including general helpdesk duties, with a mentor and peers for hands-on experience. Housing may be provided for those outside the Salina area.

Interns work full-time from mid-May to early August, earning $20 per hour. A 4-day work week (Mon-Thu, 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Ag Systems or other relevant Engineering major
• Willingness to live within commuting distance of Salina, KS area for the Summer
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week) during the Summer
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical exam and drug screening within a week of first day
• Proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States (I-9)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to Salina area for Summer

Responsibilities

• Work on a project assigned by a mentor
• Collaborate with peers and Great Plains employees at on-site location
• Gain practical work experience applying college knowledge in the workplace
