Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, a Kubota Company, is offering a 2027 Summer Internship for Information Technology in Salina, KS. Interns work on-site full-time May–August, earn $20/hour, and housing is provided if you live outside Salina. You’ll complete a project with a mentor and participate in intern events to connect with Great Plains staff.

Assigned to the IT department, the role includes general helpdesk duties and exposure to a real project environment in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Information Technology, MIS or similar.
• Willingness to live within commuting distance of Salina, KS for the summer.
• Available to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week) during the Summer.
• Pre-employment physical and drug screening within a week of first day.
• Authorized to work in the United States and provide I-9 verification.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT help desk with daily tasks and user requests.
• Work on a department-related project under a mentor.
