Job summary

C Spire in Ridgeland, MS is seeking an End User Support Intern to gain hands-on IT experience. You will provide front-line support for internal systems, assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and work on-site at the corporate office or remotely as needed during the summer 2026 internship.

You’ll interface with IT staff, handle help desk requests, manage equipment inventory, and participate in upgrades and repairs.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an accredited college or university as a junior, senior, or graduate student (in good standing).
• Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Skills or strong interest in troubleshooting hardware, software, networks, and front-line technical issues.
• Successful completion of at least 12 credit hours in computer technology or math-related coursework.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Gain familiarity with the company environment and troubleshoot and resolve requests concerning hardware and software utilizing remote management tools with minimal supervision.
• Interface and coordinate with IT personnel, internal customers, and vendors to facilitate troubleshooting.
• Assist with PC requisitions, equipment inventory, and equipment repair processes.
• Provide timely solutions to Help Desk requests and escalate issues as necessary.
• Assist with additional assignments as requested by management.
